The Mercy Perinatal Australian Reproduction Update is a two-day educational conference for clinicians and scientists working in reproductive biology.
Each year, we have a stellar lineup of invited speakers from across Australia who are leading the way for reproductive scientists and clinicians, and 2024 will be no different!
Our theme in 2024 is “The Greatest Show; Perseverance, Innovation and Equality in Reproduction”. The program is tailored to appeal to the clinical Reproductive Medicine Specialist wanting to hear about cutting-edge research that might change the way they practice their art, a scientist wanting to take that next big leap, a research nurse/midwife hoping to hear the latest research to improve reproduction outcomes, or the clinician interested in the latest scientific and clinical advances. Assisted reproductive technologies Advancing pregnancy research and care. We will hear from experts in Assisted Reproductive Technologies and have a close look at improving fertility. We will hear about the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs that promise to revolutionise pregnancy research and care. We will put a lens over women’s health inequitiy and how we can enhance equality in Australia and beyond. Finally, we will focus on the baby - looking at fetal surgery advances and the impact of preterm birth on long-term outcomes.
Along with our list of stellar invited speakers, we will again open up abstract submissions to give some of Australia’s best early career researchers and students the opportunity to present their innovative research in dedicated oral presentation sessions.
