Biography
Prof Simon Meagher is a consultant obstetrician gynaecologist at the Mercy Hospital for Women and Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and gynaecology, University of Melbourne.
He is an internationally-renowned educator in obstetric imaging and is the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ambassador to the Asia Pacific region. He provides regular education to our local subspeciality trainees and the global community through highly-subscribed webinars and international workshops.
He has served as medical Director of Monash IVF /Ultrasound for Women for over 20 years. His previous appointments also included Council Member, Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM), Chairman Standards of Practice Committee (ASUM) , executive board member and examiner for the Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound (ASUM ) and Chairman of the Melbourne Sonologists group.
