Summary
This has certainly been a bit of a sobering week. All of us in Melbourne have been on the rollercoaster- the mounting sense of dread with rising COVID cases, the collective angst for the people exposed to hard lock down in the Housing Commission flats, the weariness at facing another 6 weeks of lockdown, the concern for our families, our patients, our colleagues- which all of a sudden has become very real again. For those outside of Melbourne, we know you are watching these events unfold with concern. It has been a salient reminder that none of us are safe- until all of us are safe.
We feel it with you- and we want to help. The only way we will get through this is- together. So- we’ve mobilised our first responders, packed the first aid kit for the crisis- and developed a ‘rapid response’ Twilight next Wednesday.
And the subject is PPE- both ‘Physical Protective Equipment’ and ‘Psychological Protective Equipment’!
