Our next Twilight will be held on Wednesday June 19th and here we will be focusing on ‘Obesity in Pregnancy at Twilight’.

Numerous post Twilight surveys have identified this as a topic of interest for many of you, so we will be picking this up with some stellar Australian and International speakers. 

Our Speakers and Topics

  • At this session we will be joined by Prof Glyn Teale who will cover ‘Pregnancy care in women with obesity’ (Head of the Diamond Clinic at Western Health). 
  • Professor Leonie Calloway from the University of Queensland  on ‘Pre pregnancy care, medical complications among women with obesity and the importance of providing weight-inclusive maternity care’. 
  • Dr Sebastian Hobson  from the University of Toronto making easy (!) ‘The challenges of operative vaginal delivery and caesarean section in women with obesity’.
