We are thrilled to have Dr Glenn Gardener from the Mater Hospital in Brisbane come to Melbourne to share his team's experience of the first Australian fetal surgical repair of spina bifida with us at Twilight. He will be joined by Dr Simon Meagher, our local expert on the prenatal imaging and first trimester detection of neural tube defects.  

Twilight seminars are free but please register your attendance with us using the link below for catering purposes. Remember, refreshments from 6.00pm, and talks commence at 6.15pm. 

For those who have time to unwind between work and Twilight, please come to our regular yoga session in Level 4 seminar room 1 from 5.15pm to 6.00pm.  Our yoga session can be done in comfortable work attire, with yoga mats and refreshments provided!

  • Dr Simon Meagher (COGU)  "Ultrasound Diagnosis of Neural Tube Defects". Dr Simon Meagher, from Monash Ultrasound for Women and Monash University, is a longstanding contributor to the field of obstetric imaging.
  • Dr Glenn Gardener (CMFM):  "In utero surgery for Spina Bifida". Dr Glenn Gardener is a maternal fetal medicine specialist and Director of the Mater Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine at Mater Mothers' Hospitals, QLD.
