Summary

At Mercy Perinatal, we believe that midwives play a key role in caring for women with high risk pregnancies in collaboration with medical colleagues. We are proud to be leading the way in clinical education and fetal surveillance training for midwives. This course is specifically aimed at midwives who wish to gain skills in ultrasound assessment of fetal well-being.

This comprehensive, evidence-based course will give participants a grounding in the theoretical principles of ultrasound, an overview of the clinical applications of ultrasound in the assessment of fetal well-being, and valuable hands-on scanning skills. 

Over the two days, participants will be taken through six theoretical sessions and four practical sessions. We are limiting places so that each practical session will provide each participant with adequate 'hands on' scanning experience.

Our highly-experienced educators are part of the multidisplinary team at Mercy Perinatal, including Rachel Worboys, Sue Walker and Teresa MacDonald.
