Summary
Few diagnoses generate as many questions in the ultrasound room as fetal hydrops. Although uncommon, it remains one of the most challenging conditions we encounter in fetal medicine- requiring a thoughtful, systematic diagnostic approach and close collaboration across obstetrics, fetal medicine, paediatric subspecialties and neonatology.
Importantly, some causes are highly treatable, making timely recognition critical for both fetal and neonatal outcomes.
We're delighted to have three outstanding speakers who will guide us through the practical aspects of managing fetal hydrops.
🩺 Dr Hannah Skrzypek, opening with ‘The Clinician's Toolbox: An Approach to Fetal Hydrops’
💊 Then switching hears with A/Prof Ali Fung on ‘Hydrops: Diagnosis and Management of Fetal Anaemia’.
👶🏾 And finally presenting ‘Diagnosis and management of fetal supraventricular tachycardia’, by Dr Darren Hutchinson
